Indian team wins gold Lion at Young Lions competition set by World Bank's IDA, recruiting youth, entrepreneurs, influencers, and civil society to champion its cause.

One of the Indian teams that won the Indian edition of the Young Lions competition in April, has now won the gold Lion in the Marketers category. This year, the brief was set by the World Bank's International Development Association (IDA), which asked competitors to recruit young people, entrepreneurs, influencers and civil society groups to champion and advocate for it.

Praptee Sharma, manager-product marketing at Jio Platforms India and Roshni Govind Iyengar, manager-strategic initiatives, won this gold for their work titled, 'I Do Give A F***'.

"Winning Young Lions has been a rush of adrenaline, exhilaration and pride. Being able to represent India and take home the first gold in the Young Lions competition makes this extra special. Working on a brief from the World Bank... pushed us to put our best creative feet forward and deliver a strong solution in 24 hours," said Sharma.
