BDO India introduces executive search services

Bengaluru: Professional services firm BDO India is foraying into the executive search and leadership advisory space with the launch of BDO Executive Search Services that will help its parent’s clientele across 165+ countries to tap India’s leadership talent pool.

BDO Executive Search Services will act as a catalyst between leaders and businesses, identifying the right talent for the right opportunity and enterprise, BDO India said in a statement on Tuesday.

To spearhead the initiative, the company has appointed Shivani Desai as CEO of BDO Executive Search Services. Desai has a track record of over a decade as an advisor to boards, CXOs and top global investment firms, recruiting senior talent for their teams and portfolio companies.

“BDO Executive Search Services aims to identify promising leaders in India’s vast talent base and connect them with businesses, helping in building high-performing leadership teams that deliver long-term value,” said Milind Kothari, managing partner of BDO India. “Given our global leverage, the potential in the Indian market, and the corresponding demand for leadership talent, growth is evident.”

The firm’s ambition is to be amongst the top five players in the Indian executive talent space, Kothari said.

BDO Executive Search Services offers an all-inclusive suite of solutions and consultative expertise including board services, executive assessments, executive search, forensic talent diligence and HR advisory across various leadership roles and key industries.

Establishing its initial presence in Mumbai, the firm is expected to expand in other key cities in the country including New Delhi and Bengaluru.
