World’s largest rich list provider Hurun launched the 12th Anniversary Edition of 2023 M3M Hurun Global rich list on Wednesday. The list includes five sectors -- healthcare, paints, aviation, telecom and biscuit manufacturing -- where Indian billionaires have been featured as the richest in the world.
With $82 billion, Mukesh Ambani is the richest telecom entrepreneur in the 2023 M3M Hurun Global Rich List.
With a wealth of $27 billion, industrialist Cyrus S Poonawalla of Serum Institute of India is the richest healthcare billionaire in the world, followed by Dilip Shanghvi and family ($17 billion) of Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries.
Although down 108 ranks this year, with a wealth of $7.1 billion, Ashwin S Dani & Family is the richest paint entrepreneur in the world.
India is also home to the richest aviation billionaires, with a wealth of $3.6 billion and $3.3 billion, Rakesh Gangwal and Rahul Bhatia and family of Indigo Airlines are the wealthiest aviation billionaires.

Jumping 1,005 spots in the last three years, Byju Raveendran & family ranked 994 with a wealth of $3.3 billion. Byju is the second richest education entrepreneur in the world.
With a wealth of $14 billion, Kumar Mangalam Birla & Family is the second richest cement manufacturer in the world.
