Adani Power shares rise 0.09% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Adani Power Ltd. traded at Rs 715.7 on BSE at 12:43PM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.09 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 235.7 and a high of Rs 896.75.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 85,532 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:43PM (IST).

The stock of Adani Power Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 275886.84 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 13.25, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 5.78. Return on equity (ROE) was at 58.53 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 323 stocks traded in the green, while 178 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 71.75 per cent in the Adani Power Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 15.91 per cent and 1.41 per cent, respectively.
