Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 56.28 points up at 62466.96 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Beeyu Overseas(down 16.32 per cent), Novateor Research(down 16.20 per cent), SecMark Consultancy(down 10.27 per cent), IndiaNivesh Ltd(down 9.95 per cent) and Siel Financial(down 9.85 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 15.5 points up at 18576.0.


On the BSE, Gala Global Prod and Nirvikara Paper Mill hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Victoria Mills, Clara Industries Ltd., Narmada Gelatine, B-Right Realestate Ltd. and RR Financial touched their fresh 52-week highs.
