Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 164.99 points up at 65558.89 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, SBL Infratech(down 14.28 per cent), Innovative Ideals(down 12.62 per cent), Inducto Steel(down 9.99 per cent), Bridge Sec(down 8.96 per cent) and BCPL Railway Infra(down 8.59 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 18 stocks closed in the green, while 32 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 29.45 points up at 19413.75.


On the BSE, Gorani Ind, Ultracab(India), Bheema Cements Ltd., MRC Exim and Flora Corporation hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Trigyn Tech, Humming Bird Educat, Talbros Engineering, Intnl Comb Ltd and Ashoka Metcast touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
