The Nifty Realty index closed 0.54 per cent down at 380.45.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Friday.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers(down 10.7 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 2.12 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.9 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.79 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(down 0.13 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.54 per cent down at 380.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 45.45 points at 17465.8, while the BSE Sensex stood down 141.87 points at 59463.93.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 27 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato Ltd., Suzlon Energy and GAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Mahindra CIE, Zen Tech, Jindal Saw, Nintec Systems Ltd. and Soma Textiles hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Ahimsa Industries L, Kridhan Infra, Macrotech Developers Ltd., The Mandhana Retail and Praxis Home Retail hit their fresh 52-week lows.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate(up 12.37 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 2.13 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.99 per cent), DLF(up 0.92 per cent) and SOBHA(up 0.5 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Macrotech Developers(down 10.7 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 2.12 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.9 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.79 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(down 0.13 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
