United Spirits shares decline 0.28% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the United Spirits Ltd. traded at Rs 1272.7 on BSE at 12:38PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.28 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 891.05 and a high of Rs 1334.05.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 8,014 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:38PM (IST).

The stock of United Spirits Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 92591.76 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 65.8, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 11.55. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.77 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 356 stocks traded in the green, while 145 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 56.67 per cent in the United Spirits Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 16.68 per cent and 12.23 per cent, respectively.
