Excited for everyone to see the diversity of scenes we've been filming episode to episode. We're going to so many new places in the Miyagiverse."

In another significant development, Alicia Hannah-Kim, who portrayed Sensei Kim Da-eun, told 'Deadline', "Hopefully, we will continue what we've started in season five on Cobra Kai… I think they've opened a pandora's box with Kim Da-Eun and Master Kim Sun-Young."

But she said further, "It really brought a darker element to this season and I'm curious what could happen now that Cobra Kai is ostensibly defeated. I do know Kim is hellbent on global domination for her family's legacy, so there's a lot yet to explore."

New Characters?

According to 'Screen Rant', Cobra Kai seasons 1-5 have essentially exhausted all important characters from the Miyagi-verse that could create an impact on the show. Though there are a few characters left, they are not as high-profile as Hilary Swank. Julie Pierce may enter the fray and it can be the most reasonable solution to Hurwitz's intentionally vaguely worded teaser.
