Synopsis

Millie Bobby Brown will be seen in the movie. Originally the movie was supposed to be released in October 2023. But now it is been scheduled for 2024.

After starring in Stranger Things and Enola Holmes, Millie Bobby Brown has rapidly risen to the top of Netflix's actress demand. Here are the details we currently know about the upcoming fantasy film Damsel, which was originally supposed to come out in October 2023 but has since been rescheduled for 2024.

In the upcoming fantasy film Damsel, starring Brown, the heroine takes on a dragon head-on rather than waiting for a knight to save her. This subverts the cliché of the "damsel in distress."
Oscar-nominated Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, whose credits include 28 Weeks Later and Intruders, will helm Netflix's Damsel.

Release date:
On January 18, 2023, Damsel was officially added to the 2023 film roster. Originally slated for a global release on October 13, 2023, the movie was first announced. What's on Netflix, however, discovered earlier in 2023 that Netflix had moved the film out of 2023 and was awaiting confirmation from the streaming service on a 2024 release.

Cast:
The first and, as of October 2021, the only actress known to have been a member of the Damsel cast was Millie Bobby Brown. Princess Elodie, the primary character, will be portrayed by Brown. The helpless girl believes she is getting married to Prince Henry only to learn that he is using her as a sacrifice for a dragon. Princess Elodie's stepmother, Lady Bayford, will be portrayed by Angela Bassett.
