Of these 98 cases, 91 were from attendees and their contacts from the ‘single source’ event in Delhi, she said, without mentioning the source by name, although it is being widely understood to be referring to cases stemming from the Tablighi Jamaat conference held in Delhi in March. The remaining seven cases were contact cases, she confirmed.

On Sunday, after the State reported a huge spike with 106 cases, she said the government's strategy was on 'aggressive testing.' In line with this, she said 62 patients with SARI were tested for Covid-19 on Monday and none of them tested positive for the virus.
