After a terrific T20 World Cup campaign, the Indian Cricket Team is all set to take on Zimbabwe in Harare on Saturday in the shortest format of the game but with a team of young stars led by Shubman Gill.
This series is also the first time that Shubman Gill, 24, is leading India internationally with IPL stars like Riyan Parag, Abhishek Sharma and Rinku Singh. Earlier this year, he made his captaincy debut with IPL franchise Gujarat Titans.
When it comes to head-to-head, India is the stronger team against Zimbabwe in men's T20 internationals. Of the eight encounters the two teams have had, the Men in Blue have won six times. Zimbabwe won two matches: in 2015 and in 2016. Zimbabwe triumphed both times in Harare, their capital city.

Shubman Gill has confirmed that Abhishek Sharma, who lit up the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad, will open with him in the series. He scored 484 runs in 16 matches at strike-rate 204.22.
Meanwhile, Riyan Parag is another key player to watch out for who scored 573 runs for Rajasthan Royals.
Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe announced a 17-man squad for the series. While 25-year-old Antum Naqvi is included subject to him getting Zimbabwe citizenship, senior players Craig Ervine and Sean Williams were not considered for selection.
