Mumbai: ReadyAssist, a Bengaluru-based 24x7 roadside assistance (RSA) startup, has raised $1 million (about Rs 7.3 crore) in seed funding from a clutch of angel investors.
Started by Vimal Singh in December 2018, ReadyAssist provides roadside assistance for vehicular breakdowns, towing and repairs for both motorcycles and cars across India.
The company initially serviced major South Indian cities—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Mysore, Vijayawada, etc.—but after working on different models, it has grown to become one of the leading RSA companies in India. It works on a subscription-based model.
