Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's 'Chamkila' which also starred Diljit Dosanjh, recently opened up about choosing films based on co-stars and directors.
The actress highlighted in an interview with Indian Express that her film choices often prioritized co-stars and directors over her role and performance. She admitted this approach sometimes led to negative feedback when her acting didn't meet audience expectations, contrasting with successful performances in films like 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' and 'Amar Singh Chamkila'.

Expanding on her thoughts, Parineeti emphasized that actors should avoid films they don't believe in. She expressed a commitment to choosing projects based on her own belief in them, now understanding her audience's expectations better. She intends to align her film choices accordingly.


When asked about changes after marrying Raghav Chadha, Parineeti dismissed any impact on her career, criticizing the patriarchal notion that marriage should affect a woman's work. She highlighted that such questions ceased soon after her marriage and noted achieving her biggest blockbuster post-marriage, which she felt silenced critics.
