Lexus India has announced an 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new models sold from June 1, 2024. The company says that this guest-centric initiative is crafted to strengthen the brand’s relationship with its customers.
By extending the warranty, Lexus sets a new benchmark in the Indian luxury car industry, becoming the first brand to offer such extensive coverage.
The new warranty program has increased the coverage from 3 years/100,000 km to 8 years/160,000 km. Additionally, customers will have access to tailored plans covering finance, service options, insurance, and roadside assistance.

Lexus India: Model range
At present, the company has a portfolio of seven vehicles in India, including three SUVs. These models are available in different variants and powertrain options as well, including hybrids. The SUVs include NX, RX, and LX models with prices starting from Rs 67.35 lakh for the base-spec NX and going. For the company’s flagship SUV in India, the LX, the starting price has been kept at Rs 2.82 crore, ex-showroom.
Besides these, the company sells the
ES sedan starting from Rs 63.10 lakh, ex-showroom, and the popular LM MPV with prices starting from Rs 2 crore, ex-showroom. Lexus, in 2020, debuted its first locally produced model, the ES 300h, which remains the most popular model in the company’s India lineup.
