In a concerning incident on Porwal Road in Dhanori, Pune, a drunk driver crashed a Tata Punch into a stationary autorickshaw around midnight. This accident, reminiscent of the infamous recent Porsche crash in the city, left multiple people injured and highlighted ongoing concerns about drunk driving.
The autorickshaw, which had stopped for ice cream, was carrying the driver and several family members when it was struck by the speeding Tata Punch.

It is alleged that the driver of the Tata Punch lost control of the vehicle, likely due to alcohol consumption. The impact of the crash caused significant damage to both vehicles, as seen in a video circulating on social media. The Tata Punch suffered extensive damage to its front end, while the autorickshaw's side structure was shattered and appeared almost dismantled from the force of the impact.

This accident occurred just weeks after the high-profile Porsche crash that tragically killed two IT professionals.
The infamous case has been full of twists and turns, now involving multiple individuals, including the parents of the minor driver, due to attempts to tamper with evidence and obstruct the investigation.
