Inauguration of Janata Dal (Secular)'s new party building: Deve Gowda to invite Advani, Jaitley, Nitish, Lalu

Deve Gowda has decided to invite all the national-level leaders who participated in Jayaprakash Narayan or JP's Sampoorn Kranthi movement during the days of the Emergency. Arun Jaitley and Lalu Prasad Yadav were student leaders spearheading the movement, and they were even jailed at that time.

BENGALURU: Janata Dal (Secular) chief H D Deve Gowda will invite BJP veteran L K Advani, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and ex-Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, amongst others, to the inauguration of his party's new headquarters in Bengaluru: 'J P Bhavan'
The building is named in memory of freedom fighter and social reformer Jayaprakash Narayan, or JP, and may be inaugurated in the new year.

Deve Gowda has decided to invite all the national-level leaders who participated in Jayaprakash Narayan (or JP)'s Sampoorn Kranthi movement dring the days of the Emergency. Arun Jaitley and Lalu Prasad Yadav were student leaders spearheading the movement, and they were even jailed during this time.
Sources said he has also decided to invite Communist leaders Prakash Karat and Seetharam Yechury.
The new office is in the final stage of construction at Platform Road. Two years back, the JDS's office was on Race course road, but the Congress got hold of that building, and is now using it as the State Congress office.
