A 20-year-old college student died after a bike he was riding pillion, collided with a calf near governor house on Friday afternoon.The calf died on the spot after the accident.

Bhopal: A 20-year-old college student died after a bike he was riding pillion, collided with a calf near governor house on Friday afternoon. The calf died on the spot after the accident. A case was registered at Jehangirabad police station.
His friends alleged they called 108-ambulance after the accident, it did come, but did not take him to hospital otherwise he could have been saved.

The student, Deepak Saroj, was a resident of North TT Nagar and was studying in B Com final year, police said. He left home to fill exam form and was coming back with his friend Pawan, when the incident took place.
The bike belonged to Pawan. Deepak was riding the pillion. He fell down after the accident and sustained head injuries. His friends later took him to hospital in an auto-rickshaw, where he was declared brought dead. Pawan sustained injuries. Doctors said he is out of danger.
Police said youth had three elder brothers. His father is a driver in Vallabh Bhawan. His friend Saurabh alleged that 108-ambulance came, but went without taking him to hospital. He was alive at that time and would have been saved.
Police said the matter remains under investigation to ascertain the exact cause that led to his death.
