HC tells CBI to reinspect nursing colleges it cleared

BHOPAL/JABALPUR: In the wake of CBI unearthing a bribery racket involving some officers investigating the nursing college scam, MP high court on Tuesday asked the central agency to conduct a fresh 'physical verification' of all 169 nursing colleges that have already been given the clean chit by CBI.
The CBI will carry out this re-investigation in the presence of a judicial magistrate and the process will be videographed and photographed.The director and principal of the college must be present during the inspection, HC ordered.
In response to a PIL filed by president of Law Students' Association, Vishal Baghel, MP high court had asked CBI to investigate all 364 nursing colleges in the state and find out if they have the necessary approvals and facilities.
