Newly-wed woman dies by suicide

Bhopal: A 25-year-old newly-wedded woman died by suicide at her home in Bilkhiria on Friday morning. No suicide note was recovered so the exact reason behind her extreme step could not be ascertained yet. Bilkhiria police registered a case and started investigations.
Investigation officer ASI Rajesh Uikey said that the deceased Nikita Singh, 25, a resident of Tikamgarh, was married to Deepak Parihar, a resident of Diamond City in Transport Nagar in Bilkhiria on May 29, 2023.Deepak works in a private firm.

ASI Uikey said that on Friday morning, Deepak went to work while Nikita was at home with family members.
Around 10am when the family members were sitting on the ground floor, Nikita went to her room on the first floor saying that she was going to take a bath. When she did not come out for a long time, the family members tried calling her mobile number.
But she did not pick up the calls. They somehow managed to open her room which was locked from inside and found her hanging. Acting on information, Bilkhiria police reached the spot and registered a case. Further investigations were on.
