Cancer patient ends life at GMSH
Chandigarh: A 43-year-old cancer patient allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in a bathroom at GMSH-16 on Saturday. Following the autopsy, police handed over the body to the family of the victim, identified as Rajinder Kaur, a resident of Karnal, Haryana. Police said the woman was diagnosed with blood cancer and was under depression due to her illness.
Police ruled out any foul play in the death. Inquest proceedings have been started in the matter.
