Caught on cam: Cylinder explodes in Tamil Nadu eatery, six injured, two shops gutted

TIRUNELVELI: At least six people were injured and two shops were gutted after a gas cylinder explosion at a samosa shop located on North Radha Road in Tirunelveli district on Thursday.
The incident occurred on Thursday, prompting a swift response from fire service personnel who arrived at the scene to combat the blaze.

The firefighters successfully extinguished the flames.Police authorities are currently investigating the incident, and additional details are expected to emerge as the inquiry progresses.
This incident follows another recent explosion that took place on May 11 at a firecracker manufacturing factory situated in Narayanapuram Pudur, near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district.
No casualties were reported in the factory fire, as fire tenders promptly arrived at the location and managed to extinguish the flames.
