CHENNAI: To facilitate CMRL work, traffic will be blocked in both directions on Strahan's Road till June 17. Motorists will have to use New Ferrance Road, which runs parallel to Strahans Road, and Chellappa Street.
For heavy vehicles and MTC buses plying from Ayanavaram to Vallalar Nagar, Perambur to Vallalar Nagar, Ayanavaram to Doveton, Perambur to Doveton, Ayanavaram to Central railway station and Broadway, Perambur to Central railway station and Broadway, and vice versa, traffic police personnel have announced route diversions.

Local residents can use the following interior roads for transportation: New Ferrance Road, Chellappa Street, Avadhana Papaiya Road, Subba Street, Rangiah Street, Ashtabujam Road, Vadamalai Street, Thana Street, and Manickam Street to reach their destinations.
