Give Bharosa feedback from July 11
Hyderabad: The cabinet sub-committee on Rythu Bharosa, which met for the first time on Friday, decided to seek feedback from farmers across the state between July 11-16 on the criteria to be followed for implementing the scheme.
The sub-committee led by deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikarmarka resolved to hold three sessions every day to take opinions from farmers in districts, with ministers from each district present at the sessions.
The sub-committee will meet again after July 16.
The sub-committee deliberated on the previous BRS govt giving benefits to land not under cultivation and it was felt that such land parcels be exempted from the eligibility of the scheme and see that only small and marginal farmers get the benefit. The govt already took feedback from 50,000 farmers through Rythu Vedikas. The meeting also discussed how to recognise the tenant farmers and the possibility of insisting on an agreement copy between land owner and the tenant farmer.
