Girl, 5, dies as pen pierces her head in Telangana

HYDERABAD: A five-year-old girl died after a pen pierced her head in Bhadrachalam town of Telangana's Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
Riyanshika, a UKG student, was writing something while sitting on a cot when she suddenly fell on the ground on Monday. Due to the impact, the pen in her hand pierced her head.
Her family took her to a hospital where she underwent a surgery on Tuesday.
However, she did not survive.
