Minor drug addict dies by suicide in Nandbagh area
Indore: A 16-year-old died by suicide at his home in Nandbagh area on Saturday. Family members said that he was a drug addict and they had stopped him from consuming drugs.
Additional DCP Alok Sharma said Vicky was found hanging on the terrace of his house by his family members, who rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead by doctors. Family members said that Vicky was a dropout from school and would work as a carpenter for a living.

Vicky’s elder brother Lucky told police that he was involved in substance abuse and was caught on several occasions consuming drugs with his friends. They had tried to reason with him but he never gave any heed to them. On Thursday night when he returned home, he was not able to stand. None of the family members said anything and he went to sleep. Lucky said that they had recently purchased a bike for him.
The family members were in a state of shock after the incident.
Police said that the death was recorded and the body was handed over to the family members after a postmortem examination.
