Indore: Body of a 44-year-old railway engineer was found in the AC coach of a passenger train in Indore under suspicious circumstances. Some passengers said that he had slept on a vacant seat but did not wake up. The body was spotted in Indore on Saturday morning.
GRP police station in-charge Sanjay Shukla said that Rahimuddin, son of Nizamuddin, resident of Khulera village in Rajasthan was the inspector of the air conditioner coach and had slept on one of the berths in the AC coach in train number 12974.
When a railway employee tried to wake him up in the morning, he did not respond. He was seen wearing his identity card around his neck. Later, railway officials were informed that he had died. His family members were informed about the incident and the body was sent for post mortem examination to MY hospital.
Police said that it is suspected that he died of cardiac arrest but nothing can be said clearly until the autopsy report arrives. TNN
