Online JEE counselling guideline

Kolkata: West Bengal Joint Entrance Board (WBJEEB) on Wednesday issued a notice to guide students about online counselling. The board has skipped mock-allotment which was introduced last year. This time there will be only three rounds of counselling — allotment, upgradation, mop-up round followed by registration, choice filling and choice locking.
A detailed guideline has been released for ensuring a fair and smooth admission for eligible candidates to get into their desired courses and colleges.After downloading the allotment letter a candidate must report to the allotted institute with the allotment letter and all other documents for physical verification.
The seat matrix provided by the state higher education department will be uploaded soon on the counselling portal, www.wbjeeb.nic.in/www.wb jeeb.in, and the counselling process will start be started shortly. There will be one combined counselling for both WBJEE-2024 and JEE (Main)-2024 rank-holders.
