Four including a minor held for killing youth in Kalyan

KALYAN: The Kolsewadi police probing brutal murder case of a 26-year-old old youth on busy 100 feet road in Kalyan have arrested four persons including a minor boy.
The arrested accused identified as Shahil Shaikh alias Saif,21, Vidyasagar Murtil alias Anna,21, Arvind Gandpande alias Pendya,20 and one 17-year old minor boy.
The police said accused on Monday night in filmy style by gheroing Sandeep Rathore,26, brutally killed him by attacking with sharp weapons when he was going to his home after buying beer at wine shop.
Taking serious note of incident, the Thane police formed seperate teams including of crime branch unit 3 and another team led by Ashok Kadam of Kolsewadi police station.
The police through CCTV cameras identified accused. After which crime branch unit nabbed two accused Shaikh and Anna from Igatpuri area in Nashik while remaining two accused were arrested by Kolsewadi police station.
Kadam said, "Out of arrested four accused two are habitual criminal and deceased Rathore was also having criminal having serious offences registered against him including of a murder and attempt to murder. Both parties had old enmity over previous dispute which led to the killing".
