Shiv Sena announces Vaishali Darekar as candidate for Kalyan Lok Sabha seat

KALYAN: Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena has finally announced their candidate from Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's son Shrikant Shinde.
Shiv Sena (UBT) has declared Vaishali Darekar as candidate of party from Kalyan Loksabha seat.
So now in Kalyan Loksabha seat there will be mainly a fight between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's son Shrikant Shinde and Thackeray's Vaishali Darekar.
Vaishali Darekar is known for making aggressive statements against Shinde.
Thackeray has fielded her as an aggressive candidate and a and educated face who is graduate from commerce. Vaishali Darekar was earlier with undivided Shiv Sena. She had contested the Kalyan- Dombivli Municipal Corporation election in 2005.
She was known as the youngest corporator at that time. Darekar later had joined Raj Thackeray's MNS party. She again win corporator's election on MNS ticket in 2010 and at that time she was holding the post of opposition leader in KDMC.
Meanwhile, in 2009, she contested the election from Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency on MNS ticket. In which she got more than 1 lakh votes against Shiv Sena's Anand Paranjape.
She is known as an aggressive and studious face in Kalyan. Now after Darekar has been fielded against Shrikant Shinde it will be interesting to see that who will win Kalyan Loksabha Seat.
Earlier their was strong demand from party workers in city to senior party leaders to given some strong candidate like Aditya Thackeray, Varun Sardesai or Sushma Andhare from Kalyan seat since Shrikant is considered strong candidate from seat but party had made Darekar as candidate.
