PATNA: As uncertainty looms over those who have cleared this year's NEET-UG amid the turmoil let loose by the paper leak fiasco and demands for a retest, many are turning to psychologists to seek professional counselling to deal with the current situation.
"NEET-UG does not follow a pattern and is known for its ever-changing nature and unpredictability.Amid this, if re-examination is ordered, I might not qualify again," said Vidisha Kumari, who has returned from Kota, having spent five-long years to crack the exam. She had scored 667.

Vidisha isn't alone. Fear for the future has been forcing many to spend sleepless nights. There are over 50,000 seats in govt medical colleges and about 24 lakh students had registered for NEET-UG 2024.
