Cong MP from Lohardaga LS seat meets people
Gumla: Congress party winner from Lohardaga ST parliamentary constituency, Sukhdeo Bhagat, organised a rally in Gumla on Thursday. The issues of safeguarding the Constitution and inherent reservation had been their chief concerns during the recently held Lok Sabha elections.
“The issue of keeping tribal identity intact worked in favour of the INDIA bloc which sweeped all the 5 ST seats in Jharkhand,” said former tribal bureaucrat cum activist Punai Oraon.

Former state minister Gitashree Oraon said, “Whatever the ST, the SC, and the OBC have been able to achieve till now was due to the constitutional provisions meant for them. So this election was primarily to safeguard i.” TNN
