BSF nabs 3 Kashmir-bound B’desh infiltrators in East Khasi Hills dist

Shillong: BSF Meghalaya has apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals, including a minor boy, who had illegally entered India with the intention of going to Kashmir for jobs, the paramilitary force said here on Monday.
They have been identified as Mohibur Rehman (30) and Kudus Miah (25) from Sunamganj district, and 16-year-old from Sylhet district of Bangladesh. They were caught inside Indian territory in the East Khasi Hills on June 30, BSF said.
“Acting on specific information, a BSF party stationed at Dangar tri junction stopped the Maruti Alto car and apprehended two Indian touts and three Bangladeshi nationals on suspicion. On questioning, the apprehended Bangladeshi nationals claimed that they illegally entered into Indian territory with intention to go to Kashmir in search of jobs,” the BSF statement read.
The trio has been handed over to Dangar PS in East Khasi Hills for further legal formalities.
