CM meets min of Modi 3.0 in Delhi

Shillong: CM Conrad K Sangma called on several ministers of the newly formed NDA govt at the Centre in New Delhi on Monday and discussed issues pertaining to developmental schemes in the state. He met Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, minister of commerce and industry, Piyush Goyal, minister for department of development of north eastern region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya Scindia and others.
“Had a fruitful discussion with Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt Nirmala Sitharaman ji on Meghalaya Economic Growth Accelerator (MEGA) Corridor Project and sought her support to fund this critical project during the current finance commission period,” the CM said in a social media post.
“It was an absolute pleasure to call on Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri. Piyush Goyal ji,” another post read, reports Manosh Das.
