On Wednesday, the University Grants Commission received indications from cybersecurity authorities that the integrity of the examination might have been compromised.

To maintain transparency and integrity, the ministry of education decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination. A fresh examination will be organised and details regarding this will be communicated separately.

"Any individual/organisation found to be involved in this matter will face strictest action," stated the ministry.
