Riyaaz is my worship : Iman Chakraborty
For singer Iman Chakraborty, World Music Day is truly special. “I don’t celebrate any day, but today is special as it encourages people to listen to music and embrace the art form to enrich future generations. I believe music is the only medium which has no language and can bring people of all religions, castes and creeds together. It can only heal us and make the world a better place to live in,” says the singer.

Speaking about how she’s spending the day, Iman said, “I started my day by offering puja to Lord Jagannath and then did riyaaz for two hours.
I’ll also be singing a track from Sound of Music at a Music Day concert. I hope I’ll be able to pull it off well.”
Iman, who is also into yoga, believes that yoga helps her to balance her body and mind in a perfect way. “I couldn’t practice yoga for the past two months because of a ligament injury. But today, on International Day of Yoga, I’ve started my yoga routine again,” she said.
