Bengaluru International Short Film Festival to be hybrid this year; Sumana Kittur, Sruthi Hariharan, Meghana Raj and Champa Shetty among juries

This year, the BISFF will be held in a hybrid format, and the competition will be held in 6 different categories.

The 13th edition of Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (BISFF) will be held between August 3rd and 13th. This year, BISFF will be in a hybrid format, that is, online screenings will be held from August 3 to 13th, while screenings in Theatre at Suchitra and Goethe Institut Max Mueller Bhavan will be hedld from August 10 to 13.

Enthusiasts can log into www.bisff.in and enjoy a plethora of short films from different categories.
Once registered the films are available for viewing all through the 10 days, the festival team continues its commitment to make cinema accessible.

This year, the competition is being held in 6 categories: International Competition, Indian Competition, Karnataka Competition, Let’s Include, Animation and Women in Cinema Collective. Among the juries this year also include Sumana Kittur, Sruthi Hariharan, Meghana Raj and Champa Shetty. The other juries are Alejandro Gonzalez, Diego Faraone, Chaitanya Hegde, Amit Masurkar, Rajendra Singh Babu, Mandya Ramesh,
Milind Rau, Vijay Manjunath, Prajwal Vas, Vinod Gowda, Jasbinder Singh, Ajith Hande and Geetha Gurappa.

Prakash Belawadi, Actor, Director and Mentor, BISFF, said, “I’m so happy that the organising team by Anand Varadaraj has put together a programme that includes so many talented filmmakers who have dared to be different among the juries and master classes.
