Munjya box office collection: Abhay Verma and Sharvari starrer drops in its second week; earns a total of Rs 68 crore

Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and Sharvari starrer Munjya is enjoying a glorious run at the box office, even in the second week. The film in its first week earned Rs 35.3 crore surprising everyone and taking box office by storm. In the second week, the film earned Rs 32.65 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk.

The movie witnessed just a 7.5 percent drop in its collection in the second week, thus taking the two week total of the film to Rs 67.95 crore.With these numbers, Munjya has become one of the biggest hits of the year following Article 370, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Crew, Shaitaan and Fighter. The film is based on Maharatrian folklore and directed by Aditya Satpordar.
At this point the film is expected to cross Rs 80 to Rs 90 crore mark at the end of its lifetime run. This week, it faces competition from Rohit Saraf’s Ishq Vishq Rebound, while next week the competition will get intense with the release of Kalki 2898 AD starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
