After 2001, Aftab Shivdasani to star in movie named Kasoor, again: Exclusive!

Following the success and enthusiastic response to " Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai " starring Manoj Bajpayee which was based on the life of Advocate PC Solanki, Asif Sheikh has now roped in Aftab Shivdasani for his next film. The film is said to be musical horror flick and has been titled ‘Kasoor’. Incidentally, Kasoor happens to one of the most successful films of Aftab’s career, back in 2000s.
However, barring Aftab’s presence, there is no connection between both the films.
The film is being presented by Bablu Aziz and has been written by Mudassar Aziz who is known for films like Dulha Mil Gaya with Shah Rukh Khan , Happy Bhag Jayegi with Abhay Deol , Pati Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aaryan and soon to release Khel Khel Mein with Akshay Kumar. The film is said to be directed by Glen Barretto.
When reached out, producer Asif Shaikh confirmed the story and said, "It's a very unique concept—a musical romance horror. When Aftab heard the story, he was very excited about the subject. The audience will see Aftab Shivdasani in a very different role on the silver screen. It's an author-backed role, and we are in the process of finalizing one female lead and another male lead alongside Aftab. The announcement will follow soon."
