Kher mentioned that due to the building's age, police relied on CCTV footage from a neighboring building, obtaining visuals of the two individuals involved. Earlier, Kher posted a video showing the broken lock of his Andheri office door and filed a police report (FIR). According to PTI, Rs 4.15 lakh in cash was stolen, and an investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday night, news broke that actor Anupam Kher's office in Mumbai had been robbed. According to reports, two burglars broke in and stole an entire safe from the accounts department. Among the items taken were negatives of a film produced by Kher's company, along with other valuable possessions, as the actor mentioned in a post on social media.

In a recent interview, the actor detailed the incident, revealing the stolen items and expressing his main concerns about the incident. Talking to Hindustan Times, Anupam disclosed that his oldest office in Mumbai, originally set up for his acting school, was targeted by thieves. According to him, the burglars successfully broke through both the grilled door and another door, stealing the entire office safe. Kher clarified that the safe contained petty cash, especially since he was filming his directorial project, 'Tanvi The Great'. The actor also mentioned that the safe held over Rs 4 lakh in cash, along with a bag containing the negatives of his production 'Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Maara'.
Anupam also noted that due to the building's age, the police had to rely on CCTV footage from a neighboring building. They have obtained visuals of the two individuals involved. He added that he is particularly concerned about the condition of the negatives of his film, hoping they haven't been damaged.
Earlier, the actor posted a video that showed the broken lock on the door of his office in Andheri. Kher has filed a police report (FIR) against those responsible. In his tweet, he stated, "My office has filed an FIR and the police has assured us that the thieves would get caught very soon because the CCTV camera has captured them leaving with all the stuff in an autorickshaw. May god give them better sense. This is the video shot by my team before the police arrived".

According to PTI reports, Anupam Kher's office was robbed of Rs 4.15 lakh in cash. Office staff discovered the incident upon finding broken locks around 9:45 am on Thursday. An official confirmed that an FIR has been lodged at Amboli police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, with an ongoing investigation underway.
