The singer's dynamic performances were captured in several videos shared on Jimmy Fallon's, Diljit's, and other social media pages.
The singer-actor took to his Instagram handle and posted a behind-the-scenes video on June 20, showcasing his rehearsal for an upcoming performance. In the video, he expressed his excitement about being the first Punjabi artist to perform on the show's stage in front of a live audience, breaking stereotypes. He enthusiastically exclaimed, “Punjabiiiiii aaa gyeee oyeeee,” celebrating the moment proudly.

During his show performance, Diljit Dosanjh changed the lyrics of 'G.O.A.T' to sing, "Hollywood vich jine stars hai unade vich baitha sardar goriye," instead of referring to Bollywood and Khans. After his lively performance, Diljit paused and ended with the line 'Mein hun Punjab' from the song 'Ishq Mitaaye' in his film 'Chamkila'.
Diljit Dosanjh has been making waves internationally with his outstanding performances at global concerts. He made history by becoming the first Punjabi singer to perform at the renowned music festival, Coachella.

The film 'Amar Singh Chamkila' portrays the real-life story of Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife, who were tragically assassinated at a young age. Diljit Dosanjh stars as Chamkila, while Parineeti Chopra portrays his singer-wife, Amarjot. The movie was released on Netflix on April 12.
