Sania Mirza's father breaks silence on rumours of the tennis star getting married to cricketer Mohammed Shami post her divorce with Shoaib Malik

This led to fans thinking that these two sports stars should come together and get married. Fans called them the 'perfect match'. Now, an edited picture of Sania with cricketer Mohammad Shami has gone viral on the internet with rumours that they are set to tie the knot. Shami has also separated from his wife Hasin Jahan. But an AI generated image went viral which is a collage of Sania's picture from her wedding with Shoaib and a picture of Shami with his ex-wife Hasin. But someone replaced Hasin's picture with Sania.

The tennis star's father Imran Mirza has now reacted to these rumours and said to NDTV, "This is all rubbish. She has not even met him."
Meanwhile, Sania recently took to Instagram to share the new name plate of her house post her divorce with Shoaib. It read only 'Sania and Izhaan'. The star recently poked fun at her relationship status while on the Kapil Sharma's show. The two were discussing the casting of a hero to play her love interest when Mirza quipped, "Abhi mujhe pehle love interest dhundna hai."
