Shatrughan Sinha, the proud father of Sonakshi Sinha, is beaming with happiness as his daughter prepares to marry her long-time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal tomorrow in Mumbai. The festivities kicked off with a special puja held at their family's legacy home, Ramayan, today. Shatrughan, accompanied by his wife Poonam Sinha and daughter Sonakshi, actively participated in the auspicious ceremony.
After the puja concluded, Shatrughan was seen flashing his vibrant smile to cameras as he left Ramayan for the groom's house, joined by his wife and daughter. Meanwhile, the groom-to-be, Zaheer, was spotted in Bandra with his family, waving and smiling at the paparazzi, showcasing his enthusiasm for the upcoming nuptials.
The wedding preparations took another step forward as the wedding outfits for Sonakshi and Zaheer arrived earlier in the day, hinting at a royal theme for the ceremony. Sonakshi's close friend Huma Qureshi and her brother Saqib Saleem were also seen lending a helping hand at Ramayan, ensuring everything is perfect for the big day. After the puja, they joined the festivities at Zaheer's house.

Ahead of the wedding, the groom's father Iqbal Ratansi shared that the ceremony will be a civil marriage, with no Hindu or Muslim rituals involved. He emphasized that Sonakshi will not be converting to Islam, stating, “Religion has no role to play.”

After seven years of dating, Sonakshi and Zaheer are set to marry on Sunday, followed by a celebration at Shilpa Shetty’s luxurious restaurant, Bastian, in Mumbai. The event is expected to be attended by several personalities, including Huma Qureshi and Aayush Sharma, who will join the couple on their special day.
