Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal wedding: Throwback to the time when the would be groom played a prank on his lady love!

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to tie the knot with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. While earlier, this seemed like mere speculation, an audio message in Sonakshi and Zaheer's voice went viral on the internet. The duo confirmed that they have been dating for 7 years now and are set to become husband and wife, from each other's rumoured boyfriend and girlfriend.Poonam Dhillon and Honey Singh later confirmed the wedding news, and showered love on the couple!

In the movie, Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi play oversized women, who are constantly been body shamed and decide to make a name for themselves, and are helped by Zaheer's character. Coming back to Sonakshi-Zaheer's wedding, here's recalling the time when Sonakshi revealed that her father doesn't want her to leave his house. Rather, he wants to bring her husband to their house. Sonakshi had said this during a chat with Simi Garewal on her show, 'India's most desirable'. The 'Dabangg' actress had said, "Every father is concerned when his daughter is concerned. I'm the apple of his eyes and he has pampered me so much. He wants to make a house where I can get my husband. He doesn't want to let me go away to my husband's house. He wants to bring my husband to our house."
During the same chat, Poonam added, "He's as conservative as any father can be, but I would say, it's much more. Coming from the background he has, he is quite conservative about her."

Shatrughan had said, "We don't want to find a son-in-law for her, we want to find another son who stays with us."
Meanwhile, reacting to Sonakshi's wedding rumours, Shatrughan Sinha told Times Of India, "Ek hi to beti hai meri...Time will tell. She will always have my blessings."
