Recent reports have been circulating about Pooja Entertainment, owned by Vashu Bhagnani, facing losses amounting to Rs 250 crore. Amid these concerns, Bhagnani disclosed that Akshay Kumar recently called him to verify the online reports. Kumar reassured Bhagnani not to worry and pledged his ongoing support to the production house.
Vashu Bhagnani shared with ANI on Wednesday that Akshay was the first to reach out, reassuring him not to fret and offering his unconditional support.
Bhagnani also received calls from Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, and long-time friend David Dhawan, deeply touched by their steadfast loyalty during this time.

He expressed his deep affection for the film industry, calling it his life. Bhagnani noted the presence of highly empathetic individuals in the industry who stand by one another steadfastly.

Recently, media reports indicated that Pooja Entertainment, owned by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, is encountering significant losses attributed to a string of unsuccessful films. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Vashu sold Pooja Entertainment's seven-story office to address a debt amounting to Rs 250 crore. The report further detailed that proceeds from the sale were being used to settle debts, alongside news of the production house reducing its workforce by 80 percent.


Vashu, addressing rumours about the sale to settle debts clarified that the building in question was undergoing redevelopment. Regarding allegations of non-payment by crew members, he urged them to approach Pooja Entertainment directly with proper contracts and legal documentation. Vashu emphasized resolving any issues through constructive dialogue rather than social media complaints, assuring that they are committed to addressing concerns within a reasonable timeframe. He also mentioned their collaborations with UK production companies and advised claimants to contact them directly if owed money.

Pooja Entertainment, known as one of the oldest production companies, has supported numerous films including 'Coolie No. 1', 'Hero No. 1', 'BellBottom', 'Biwi No. 1', 'F.A.L.T.U.', 'Jawaani Jaaneman', and 'Rehan Hai Dil Mein', among others.
