Akshay Kumar to Deepika Padukone: TOP 10 Celebs who resumed work in the new normal

COVID 19 lockdown had taken a massive toll on the entertainment industry. Not just the movie releases were postponed, but the shootings were also stalled. As things are getting back to normal, several B-town stars are back on the sets after months of lockdown. They have been taking all the necessary precautions on the sets. So we bring you a list of top ten stars who resumed work in the new normal.

A few days back, Akshay Kumar jetted off to the UK with 'Bell Bottom' team. After the mandatory quarantine period of two weeks, Akshay took to Instagram on August 20 to announce the start of the shoot. The actor shared a post on social media and wrote, ''Lights, Camera, Mask On and Action Following all the new norms and filming on for #BellBottom! It’s a difficult time but work has to go on. Need your love and luck.'' In the video, he was seen holding a clapboard in one hand and putting a mask on his face with the other.

Ranveer Singh was papped at a suburban studio for a commercial ad shoot. The actor looked dashing in blue track pants paired with a white t-shirt and a zipper and covered his face in a mask. He is back to work after almost six months. According to the report, Ranveer had several brands to endorse, and with the festive season coming up, the actor had commitments to fulfil. He was working three days for eight hours and followed the new ‘normal’ shooting guidelines.

A few days back, Deepika Padukone jetted off to Goa with her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi. She took to her Instagram Stories and shared a boomerang video that captures the clear sky and coconut trees of the location. On the image, she wrote: "3 day to go". The actress was in Goa to shoot for her upcoming yet-untitled film, helmed by Shakun Batra. Padukone was self-quarantined at home with husband Ranveer Singh from the past six months due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.

Kareena Kapoor Khan jetted off to Delhi to shoot for 'Laal Singh Chadha'. The actress was papped at the airport with hubby Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan. As Bebo is pregnant with her second child, she wants to wrap the shoot as soon as possible owing to her growing baby bump.

'Pati Patni Aur Woh' actress Ananya Panday started shooting in the new normal. She took to her social media handle to give us a glimpse of the set where she was working. The actress also urged fans to follow all the safety precautions. In the video, the actress was seen surrounded by the crew members who were wearing PPE kits.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are gearing up for the release of 'Brahmastra'. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The film was on a halt due to the current situation. If the reports are to be believed, the dubbing for the film is in the process. . Alia was recently spotted by shutterbugs outside the dubbing studio.

With the lockdown restrictions easing, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have started dubbing for 'Brahmastra'. The Mumbai Mirror report suggested that director Ayan Mukerji has been coordinating with his post-production team, including a London-based VFX studio, all through the lockdown and will be completing work on footage already shot. The film shoot came to an unexpected halt during the coronavirus pandemic.

Sunny Leone is currently in Los Angeles with her husband Daniel Weber and kids-Noah, Asher, Nisha Kaur. The actress has also resumed work and shared a picture from one of her dance shoots. In an exclusive interaction with ETimes, Sunny spoke about the song and the precautions she took while shooting amid lockdown. She said, ''I made sure that everybody had proper masks and the studio itself had very strict guidelines. All the people were really safe and everyone wore masks the entire time.''

Malaika Arora has also resumed work in the new normal. She was shooting for a dance reality show. The actress took to her Instagram handle to talk about her experience of resuming work after four months of lockdown. She wrote, ''Stepping out of the house to resume work after almost 4 months... had a mixed bag of emotions... excitement, nervousness, happiness, fear. Things are definitely not the same but the show must go on...Felt like my first day of school after a long vacation and I was so excited to meet all my friend''.
