Congratulations are in order for the new parents in town - Amala Paul and Jagat Desai. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on June 11, 2024. On Monday, June 17, in the evening, Amala and her husband announced the big news via a collaborative post on Instagram. They also revealed that they have named their child ‘Ilai’!
In the video, Amala Paul can be seen holding her new born and entering the nursery of their home, all set and decorated to welcome the mommy and baby.“It's a boy"!! Meet our little miracle, "ILAI" born on 11.06.2024,” Amala Paul said in her Instagram note.
The couple is overjoyed with the newest addition to their family, and the congratulations are pouring in from the industry insiders as well as the fans of Amala.

Amala Paul and Jagat Desai, who tied the knot in November 2023 announced their pregnancy earlier this year, 2024. They dropped some pictures of their pregnancy shoot and announced, “Now I know that 1+1 is 3 with you!”
Amala has been actively working and promoting her upcoming release during this year. She also spoke about how her husband Jagat Desai has been a source of comfort and happiness during this phase of her pregnancy. “From the late nights spent by my side, gently easing my discomforts, to your unwavering belief in me and your uplifting words that filled me with strength, thank you for being my rock during this precious journey of pregnancy. Your willingness to fly down to support me in even the smallest moments when my confidence wavered fills my heart with gratitude and love. I must have done something truly wonderful in this life to deserve a man as incredible as you. Thank you for being my constant source of strength, love, and unwavering support. I love you more than words can express,” Amala said in an earlier note.
