Dhyan Sreenivasan’s 'Cheena Trophy' set to serve laughter in theatres from December 8

The much-anticipated release date for the comedy-drama 'Cheena Trophy,' featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role and directed by Anil Lal, has been officially unveiled. The film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on December 8.

Dhyan Sreenivasan took to his official Facebook handle to unveil the new poster for the movie along with the release date announcement.Dhyan’s Facebook note read, “Cheena Trophy in theaters from December 8.”

The film's teaser, launched a month ago, teased a delightful narrative set within the premises of an eatery. Dhyan shines as a cook, sharing the screen with real-life culinary maestro Chef Pillai. Joining them is Kendy Zirdo, previously seen in 'Android Kunjappan,' adding depth to the ensemble cast.
The teaser offers a flavorful glimpse into the local cuisine and the vibrant life at Cheena Trophy. As the story unfolds, the arrival of Zheng (portrayed by Kendy) from China introduces an intriguing twist, disrupting the rhythm of the village. Her presence piques curiosity, leaving audiences eager to uncover the mysteries surrounding her visit.
The film promises a hilarious journey through amusing moments, showcasing Dhyan and the ensemble cast against the picturesque backdrop of rural life. Santosh Anima's cinematography, coupled with Ranjan Abraham's editing, aims to captivate audiences with a visually appealing and engaging narrative.
With music by Sooraj Santhosh and Varkey, complemented by Varkey's background score, 'Cheena Trophy' boasts a talented crew. Umesh S Nair as the Chief Associate Director and Asees Karuvarakund handles the art department.
