Vedhika raises her voice against animal cruelty, says, “The worst species ever to walk this planet earth is human being”
In her latest social media post, actress Vedhika has addressed a critical issue that demands our immediate attention - animal cruelty. The actress reposted a heart-breaking video of a pig farm, where the animals go through nothing but misery, so that the human beings could ‘enjoy’ their pork ribs or bacon. In the video, one can see the pigs confined to a cramped and inhumane space, where they cannot even move, and all this suffering to only get butchered one day.

Vedhika shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “This is is the reality of Animal Factory Farms!! Their feet never touch grass 💔 How can we do this to these defenseless sentient loving beings and many such species like chickens, cows, goats et al that are bred and murdered within days of months for the sake of taste buds?”
She concluded her note stating that human beings are indeed the worst species to ever walk on this planet. “The worst species ever to walk this planet earth is the human being,” her note read.
The caption on the video highlights about how intelligent pigs are. “Pigs are believed to be one of most intelligent mammals, following humans. They learn challenging tasks as quickly as chimps. They can move a cursor on a screen with their snouts, as well as use the cursor to distinguish between scribbles they knew and those they were seeing for the first time. They laugh, they love, they cry, they are scared, they are very social and care about their families… they feel, just like you and me… Where do we go from here?”
