Urvashi shares the experience of shooting 'Ullozhukku', says 'For 40 days we shot in knee-length canal water'

Veteran actress Urvashi and her co-star Parvathy Thiruvothu are set to grace the screens with their much-anticipated movie, 'Ullozhukku', which has already stirred excitement with its intriguing teaser. Urvashi revealed her personal journey with the project, expressing gratitude for finally seeing it come to fruition after a long wait since 2018, with filming commencing at the end of 2022.

She recounted shooting scenes immersed in knee-length water sourced from nearby canals, a physically taxing experience that lasted for approximately 40 days. Despite the grueling circumstances, Urvashi emphasized the dedication of the cast and crew, acknowledging the absence of the usual lightheartedness on set due to the intense nature of the filming process.
"In my entire career, this is the only movie set where we didn't have any fun," Urvashi remarked. "Every morning, water was brought in from the canal into the house, drained by night. Hopefully, all that effort will yield good results."
