Veteran actress Urvashi and her co-star Parvathy Thiruvothu are set to grace the screens with their much-anticipated movie, 'Ullozhukku', which has already stirred excitement with its intriguing teaser. Directed by debutant Christo Tomy, known for his work with Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case, the film promises a compelling narrative that has captured the interest of audiences.

Ahead of the movie's release, Urvashi made a notable appearance on a recent episode of 'Bigg Boss Malayalam 6' to promote the film. During the interaction with contestants, she provided insights into the storyline, describing it as a tale centered around two strong women grappling with their emotions amidst a calamitous backdrop. Urvashi revealed her personal journey with the project, expressing gratitude for finally seeing it come to fruition after a long wait since 2018, with filming commencing at the end of 2022.

Reflecting on the challenges encountered during the shoot, Urvashi candidly shared the demanding conditions faced while filming 'Ullozhukku'. She recounted shooting scenes immersed in knee-length water sourced from nearby canals, a physically taxing experience that lasted for approximately 40 days. Despite the grueling circumstances, Urvashi emphasized the dedication of the cast and crew, acknowledging the absence of the usual lightheartedness on set due to the intense nature of the filming process.
"In my entire career, this is the only movie set where we didn't have any fun," Urvashi remarked. "Every morning, water was brought in from the canal into the house, drained by night. Hopefully, all that effort will yield good results."

Having acted in over 750 films throughout her illustrious career, Urvashi reflected on the enduring legacy of an actor, pondering whether each role leaves something memorable behind.
'Ullozhukku' is poised to captivate viewers with its unique narrative and the compelling performances of Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvoth. As the movie prepares for its theatrical release, anticipation grows among fans eager to witness the culmination of Urvashi's dedication and the directorial debut of Christo Tomy.
